How to Use

How to remove the cup

Here are the steps to remove your menstrual cup:-

1. Initially, do not skip washing your hands before you insert them into your vagina.
2. Get into a comfortable position, which might be squatting or sitting on the toilet.
3. Insert your thumb and index finger until you can feel the base of the menstrual cup.
4. Gently pull the stem to reach the base.
5. As you reach the base, pinch it to break the vacuum seal.
6. Slowly pull down until the cup comes out.
7. To make the removal process easy, continue pinching the base to avoid any spills.

Type of Folds

Follow these two-step methods to insert the Menstrual cup easily and for effective use.

• The ‘C’ Fold:

1. Push the sides of the Menstrual cup together to flatten the cup.
2. Fold the cup in lengthwise to create a ‘C’ shape.
3. This fold is the most well-known, but it may still be too wide to insert for some. If so, try these additional folds given below.

• Punch down Fold:

1. Use your pointer finger to press down on the rim, collapsing the cup.
2. Pinch firmly to hold it into place.

This is an easy and effective fold for people (beginners) who find the insertion difficult as it narrows the insertion point.
